Current & Prospective Annunciation Families,
As principal of Annunciation Catholic School, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our school. Annunciation is a Catholic elementary school that begins with VPK and continues through eighth grade. Educating students in Clay County for more than 25 years, Annunciation is a place rich in tradition, dedicated to educating the whole child. We are blessed to be supported by three local parish communities: St. Catherine of Siena, St. Luke, and Sacred Heart. Our environment is both rigorous and supportive, and students continue to thrive through the contributions of all of our community members.Our students embark on a rigorous academic journey that includes core academic subjects as well as STEM, Spanish, music, art and physical education. The faculty at Annunciation hold current Florida teaching certificates in the areas in which they are teaching. Specialized teachers in art, music, physical education, Spanish, media science, and technology are highly qualified in the areas they teach. Our guidance counselor provides support for our students and families in issues impacting their educational, behavioral, and social success. We also have a resource program which provides both remedial and gifted support. Partnering with our communities and parishes, we build a strong foundation that enriches the lives of our students far past their time at Annunciation.
Our extracurricular activities include robotics, band, choir, drama club, student council, chess club, National Junior Honor Society, and many more. Under the supervision of our athletic director, we take pride in our many sports including soccer, basketball, volleyball, cross country, and softball. In 2019, we were overjoyed to open our state-of-the-art gym. We are proud of our academic excellence and student achievements. Our faculty and staff are committed to providing the highest quality Catholic education for each student. Combining traditional approaches and current best-instructional practices, we are dedicated to equipping children with the tools necessary to be successful in the 21st century. This results in individuals who are committed to living out the Christian ideals of love, witness, and service in partnership with our families and parishes.
