* Kindergarten enrollment requires the successful completion of a pre-kindergarten program.

* Enrollment in the VPK programs at Annunciation or St. Luke Childcare does not guarantee a spot in kindergarten at Annunciation Catholic School in the next academic year.

* Students in grades 1 through 8 may be required to shadow a regular class day and if accepted, be put on a 90 probationary period.

* We have limited exceptional education service resources and are not able to provide accommodations for students who receive educational services outside of the general education classroom.
 
* A parentally placed private school student with a disability does not have an individual right to receive some or all of the special education and related services that the student would receive if enrolled in a public school under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), as amended.

* We do not offer ESOL classes.

• Current school families may register first AND HAVE UNTIL MARCH 1 TO RE-ENROLL.  
• The application process begins after March 1. 
• Priority is given to current students and their siblings, then to registered and supporting members of St. Catherine, St. Luke, or Sacred Heart/Fleming Island, and then to others.
•  Children entering Kindergarten must be 5 years old before September 1. Children entering first grade must be 6 years old before September 1 and must be able to document completion of Kindergarten. (Florida Statue 232.04).
• All students are required to have the appropriate immunization and school entry health forms in their school files.
• Florida state law also requires that immunizations be up to date before the start of school.  School Physicals must be less than a year old. 
• The Diocese of St. Augustine does not recognize any immunization exemptions, including those based on religious grounds.  Medical exemptions must be pre-approved through the Diocesan Superintendent's Office.

Please Note: If your student does not qualify for any of the state scholarships, perhaps your membership in one of Annunciation's Sponsoring Parishes will qualify you for a generous scholarship toward tuition.
